Day 01 :

Day 1: 25 May - Arrival in Bucharest

Meet your amazing guide, Florin, at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

A walking tour of the old town and Welcome dinner tonight in town.

Day 02 :

Day 2: 26 May - Bucharest - Sinaia - Azuga - Prejmer - Brasov

After breakfast and checkout of your hotel, we will drive to the Royal Family`s favorite city (Sinaia). The gateway to wild nature is possible here, a mountain resort known also as „The Pearl of the Carpathians “. This place impresses everyone by the beauty of its landscapes, guarding a treasure of the Romanian history: The Peles Castle, used as a summer residence for the royal family, this monument represents a symbol of elegance and nobility.

Then we will visit the Royals Champagne Cellers where we will have also wine tasting.

In the late afternoon we will visit the fortified church in Prejmer (UNESCO Heritage) – the most important and best-preserved fortified church in Transylvania.

Afterwards, drive to Brasov for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 :

Day 3: 27 May - Brasov - Zarnesti - Bran - Brasov

After breakfast we drive to Zarnesti. After 30 minutes easy-hiking we will visit the Bear Sanctuary, unique in Europe.

The we will go to Bran. Here, enjoying a tour of Bran Castle, commonly known as Dracula’s Castle. Often referred to as the home of the title character in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Bran Castle actually has little connection to Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Dracula. The castle dates back to around 1377 and has a long history of being used as a defensive fortress, with it now serving as a museum.

In the afternoon city tour of Brasov. On your tour visit the Black Church, one of the largest in Europe, and see the historic Old Town Hall, as well as the Hollywood-style city sign, perched high in the mountains.

Day 04 :

Day 4: 28 May - Brasov - Viscri - Mesendorf - Sighisoara

In the morning, we drive to Viscri, where we will visit the nice village and also the King’s Charles III holiday house. Then we drive to Mesendorf, a pictures village, where we will enjoy a lunch with local products at a family in the village.

In the afternoon we will arrive in Sighisoara, Southern Europe’s best preserved medieval city and the birthplace of Vlad Tepes, the 15th-century Wallachian prince also known as Vlad the Impaler. Sighisoara is charming mix of medieval towers and pastel-coloured buildings, with an old town enclosed by fortified city walls. Enjoy a guided city tour where you will visit the town’s Clock Tower and fortress.

Day 05 :

Day 5: 29 May - Sighisoara - Biertan - Sibiu

In the morning, we will visit in Biertan the most imposant fortified church in Transylvania, today an UNESCO-heritage. Then we travel to charming Sibiu. On your comprehensive city tour you will visit the Evangelic Church and also the Brukenthal Museum with a rich variety of exhibitions of art, books and antiques from the Transylvanian region. Free afternoon in Sibiu and dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 06 :

Day 6: 30 May - Sibiu - Hunedoara - Turda - Sibiu

After breakfast we will visit first Hunedoara Castle – one of the largest castles in Europe, build over the site of an older fortification on a rock above Zlaști River. Then we will visit Turda Salt Mine – this is the largest salt mine accessible to tourists in the world. Marvel at the vast spaces and discover the salt mine-museum.

Winetasting in one of the wine-yards of Transylvania and dinner.

Then we drive back to Sibiu.

Day 07 :

Day 7: 31 May - Sibiu - Cozia - Bucharest

In the morning visit the Astra Open Air Museum, built to provide evidence about the distinctive features of the Romanian people, about what differentiates them from other peoples, things and phenomena that could explain to all who they are. The we drive to Bucharest visiting Cozia Monastery.

In the late afternoon Panoramic tour of Bucharest, where we can see the most important monuments of the city – Atheneum, University Library, Revolution Square and many others.

Farewell Dinner tonight (4 course menu including wine and beer)

Day 08 :

Day 8: 1 June - Depart Bucharest

In the morning inside visit of the Palace of Parliament – second biggest building in the world (after Pentagon). Free time in Bucharest.

Here you say good-by to your guide Florin and bus driver.
