Itinerary Details

Day 1

(MD, Motel) Along the Indian Ocean Drive to the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park; enjoy morning tea as you wander this interesting landscape. Lunch in Jurien Bay, a major base for the WA fishing industry. In the afternoon we explore Lesueur National Park; the second most diverse flora region in WA. On to Port Denison and Geraldton. Note: Entry to Nambung and Lesueur included.

Day 2

(FB, MD, Motel) After a visit to Geraldton’s HMAS Sydney Memorial we continue on the North West Coastal Hwy to Binnu with a bush morning tea amongst the flowers then via the Ajana Rd to reach the coast at the mouth of the Murchison River. Lunch in Kalbarri. In the afternoon a visit to Bluff Point then via the coastal road to Northampton and later return to Geraldton.

Day 3

(FB, MD, Motel) East to Mingenew and the Coalseam Conservation Park where the Gregory brothers discovered coal exposed within the sedimentary layers of the banks of the Irwin River in 1846. Now in good years its renowned for its native pink and white everlastings. Through the wheat, canola and wildflowers to Dalwallinu on the Great Northern Highway.

Day 4

(FB, MD, Motel) We travel north along the Great Northern Highway into the Station and Goldfields country. We are out in the scrub searching for a range of flowers including the beautiful Wreath Leschenaultia, a unique flower often growing in disturbed gravel. In the afternoon it is out of the station country to the Wheatbelt towns of Morawa and Perenjori and return to Dalwallinu.

Day 5

(FB, MD, Motel) South to Wongan Hills and out through the wildflowers to cross the Great Eastern Highway. We take a walk in a number of Nature Reserves with our botanical guide. A visit to Corrigin Rock before reaching Hyden.

Day 6

(FB, MD, Motel) We spend the day exploring the interesting features of the region, Wave Rock, Hippos Yawn, The Lace Place, Toy Soldier Display, and Mulkas Cave. During the day we hope to find Orchids, Verticordia, Cassia, Grevillea, Damperia and others, before returning to Hyden. Note: All entries included.

Day 7

(FB, MD, Motel) Travelling via the Tin Horse Highway to Kulin, Eucalyptus macrocarpa is the flora emblem of the Shire of Kulin, we take a walk along the Macrocarpa Walk Trail. To Lake Grace for lunch then back to the road we are on the lookout for Sundews, Hakea, Leptospermum, Chamelaucium, Synaphea and Acacia on the way to Albany.

Day 8

(FB, MD, Motel) The area of Australia which produces the widest variety of wildflowers, the great gem of the Great Southern is the Stirling Ranges. Enjoy bush walks with our botanical guide explaining and pointing out the vast array of flowers. Later we visit Mt Barker and an island of Karri, the Porongurup, for another floral exploration. Return to Albany.

Day 9

(FB, MD, Motel) On to the majestic Tinglewood Trees and the Valley of the Giants treetop walk then via Denmark and Walpole to the Karri Forests of Manjimup. After lunch we enjoy a delightful drive through the forest to Nannup, an interesting quirky town on the banks of the Blackwood River. Arriving at Abbey Beach resort on Geographe Bay.

Day 10

(FB, MD, Motel) Exploring the Leeuwin Naturaliste National Park and its diverse flora and fauna. From the wind/salt swept coastal shrubs to the majestic Karri Trees. We also visit Margaret River and stop off for a wine tasting before returning to Busselton. Note: Wine Tasting included.

Day 11

(FB) A morning visit to the Busselton Jetty and Underwater Observatory 1.8km out to sea. After lunch in town we finish off the tour on the Swan Coastal Plain with its sandy alluvial soils supporting a whole new variety of flora and fauna. Note: Busselton Jetty included.

$3790 per SENIOR for double/twin share

Additional $800 for private accommodation



Terms and Conditions:

  • a minimum number of  20 passengers to guarantee a tour departure
  • a non-refundable deposit of $350 per person at the time of booking
  • We recommend Travel Insurance or Fare Protection Plan as protection
    against this risk.
  • All tickets and vouchers are issued and all travel and accommodation arrangements are made by the Firm upon the express condition that it shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay or inconvenience either by reason of any defect in any vehicle or building or through the act or defaults whether negligent or otherwise, of the Firm or its servants or any company, firm or person engaged in providing transport, refreshment, accommodation or other facilities or services in connection with the Tour, nor shall the Firm be liable for any damage, losses or additional expenses suffered by the passenger as the result of delay or changes on road, rail, sea, air or other services or as a result of sickness, quarantine, weather, war, strikes, riot or any other cause whatsoever.
  • The Firm, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to modify any tour or holiday itinerary, route, timetable, excursion or accommodation and shall not be liable to the passenger for any loss, damage or inconvenience resulting therefrom.
  • The balance of the fare is due one month prior to departure,
  • If a passenger wishes to cancel his or her booking, the fare will only be refunded as follows:(a) 28 days or more prior to designated departure date 100%
    Less monies held by any third parties for cancellation.
    (b) 27 to 16 days prior to designated departure date 90%
    Less monies held by any third parties for cancellation.
    (c) 15 to 6 days prior to designated departure date 80%
    Less monies held by any third parties for cancellation.
    (d) 5 to 1 days prior to designated departure date 0%
    (e) Day of departure or during tour 0%.
  • SPECIAL COVID CANCELLATION RULES: The Firm reserves the right without previous notice to the passenger to cancel or withdraw any tour and in such event the full sum paid by the passenger shall be returned to the passenger and upon tendering the same all liability of the firm to the passenger shall cease.  If we must cancel a tour due to COVID- 19,  passengers have will receive a full refund or by their choice kept the money on file for another tour.
